Advice & Information. We provide advice and information to groups regarding the running of organisations & on local issues that may affect groups. You can email queries or ring the office. If we can not help - we will find somebody who can.
Membership – which is free. As a member, you will receive:
A quarterly newsletter
Regular information updates
Funding updates on request
Access to a funding database. You can make an appointment to use Grants Online to find potential funders.
1 to 1 Support to Small or Newly Formed Groups in Priority Neighbourhoods. Call or email the office if you are a small or newly formed group in Kingswood, Staple Hill or Cadbury Heath, and you need support.
Support with Funding Applications for Small or Newly Formed Groups in a Priority Neighbourhood
Training. If volunteers or staff from your group require training to help them with running a group, call or email us. We can provide training and hold information on training happening locally.
We are also developing the support we can offer to ‘volunteering’ across the area through a number of new initiatives that will include:
Support to local groups within priority neighbourhoods offering volunteering opportunities
Training opportunities around good practice in working with volunteers
A Volunteer Brokerage service + Resource Bank for the area detailing information on local volunteering opportunites
Working with potential volunteers to support their move into volunteering
