Volunteer Development Worker
£26,089.44 pro rata (£11,987.04 pa)
Part time post funded until March 2011, 17 hours per week
The Chase and Kings Forest Community Project supports local community-based voluntary organisations in the Chase & Kings Forest areas of South Gloucestershire. The Volunteer Development Worker will develop and deliver a new volunteer project, to raise awareness and promote volunteering amongst local residents, encourage participation in and provide access to opportunities for regular volunteering. The post will be based at the project’s current office at the Clocktower in Warmley, with outreach work in Kingswood, Staple Hill, Cadbury Heath and other areas within the project’s remit.
