Yate Volunteer Centre

Volunteer Centre Yate

Yate Volunteer Centre can help anyone interested in volunteering to find voluntary work, as well as groups and organisations to find volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering can view a selection of opportunities on our website. www.yatevoluntarylink.org.uk or phone us on 01454 324102. You can also check out volunteering opportunities on the national database, www.do-it.org

If you are a group or organisation in need of volunteers (including the Bristol and Kingswood areas) we would be happy to register your opportunity and advertise your needs for you on both the above websites, just give us a call or send an email and we will send you a registration form – it’s that simple and costs you nothing!

Best Buddies

The South Gloucestershire Volunteer Centres are looking for a team of volunteers across the area for their Best Buddies project. Volunteer Buddies will partner volunteers with adults who have learning difficulties and who want to volunteer but need extra support to enable them to do so.

All volunteers will be Criminal Records Bureau checked and receive full training and support. Training is due to be held during October/November.

If you are interested in volunteering as a buddy, you can contact Yate Volunteer Centre on 01454 324102 or email volunteercentreyate@btconnect.com for an information and application pack.
